Why do we do what we do? That’s a big question. But it’s an important one to ask yourself.
And especially if you’re running a business.
If you don’t understand why you are doing what you’re doing, it’s very difficult to keep focus. And when you lose focus, you’ll quickly start to lose money and morale.
Consider creating some polls which help you to define the why of what you’re doing.
- You could ask your customers why they chose your business over a competitors
- Send a poll to the people who hired your business early on and ask them some questions about what inspired them to do so
- Ask your employees about what makes them feel proud of their work
Hopefully thinking about this topic a little more will give you a fresh burst of creative and commercial energy.
